Mozambique Fintech Association – FINTECH.MZ is holding this year, between the 21st and 24th of February, the third edition of the FinTech’s in Mozambique week. During the week we will have the opportunity to discuss important topics for the national financial sector and the contribution that Fintech’s and Insurtech’s can make to the development of this sector by promoting financial inclusion and the growth of the digital economy.
We will have 4 days with a specific theme or sector in each of them.On the 21st we will have a debate on electronic government payments.On the 22nd will be the financial sector day with 3 panels involving micro banks, credit institutions and mobile wallets and where we will debate the issues of interoperability, OpenBanking, service innovation and critical factors for digital financial inclusion.On the 23rd we will dedicate to the insurance sector and discuss how technology and Insurtech’s can contribute to the development of the sector through digital means.On the 24th we will have our first edition of the Fintech.MZ’22 Innovation Awards contest, where we will award a start-up or idea relevant to the sector. On this day we will also have a panel on emerging technologies and services and international partnerships for the development of the FinTech’s ecosystem in Mozambique.
